APS300: X-ERT Timber Fix Anchor (Kit)
The APS300 X-ERT Timber Fix Anchor (Kit) is a permanent anchor is rated at 22kN, designed for use either as a single person or 2 person anchor. It is used when the structure is metal/tiled/timber, where there is easy access below the roof. Affords an easy means of attachment to timber.
The X-ERT unique design incorporates the ability to dramatically reduce the loads applied to the structure in the case of a fall by an inbuilt energy absorption function. This shock absorbing action is designed to continually distort, making it a genuine 2 man system.
The location of the anchor point(s) and the installation must be carried out by a competent person in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Fixing Details | The X-ERT APS300 is fixed through the roofing material via a 15-16mm hole, and fixed into a “fixing angle” which is screwed to the timber truss. The eyebolt is lined up in the direction of fall and the lock nut is tightened |
