ZAX201: APEX X2 Vented Multi-Impact Tested Helmet

The ZAX201 APEX X2 is a multi-impact tested helmet with a vented shell to allow airflow through the helmet. It enables multiple configurations including direct fitting visors, over-visor protector (with headlamp attachment), integrated Euro slots for hearing protection & face visor assemblies. The X2 is resistant to lateral deformation.

For work at height, it is essential that in the event of an uncontrolled fall the helmet is retained on the head. The standard industrial hard hats are simply designed to protect you from a single dropped object. APEX X2 are multi-impact tested helmets not only designed and tested to reduce the force of an impact from a blow to the top of the head, they are also designed to reduce the forces from lateral impact coming from an off-centre, side or top of the head strike during a fall.

Notes: Industrial hard hats are only designed to protect the head from falling objects. For occupational protective helmets, it is essential that in the event of an uncontrolled fall the helmet is retained on the head and can withstand multiple point impacts. AS/NZS 1801:1997 safety standards do not meet these requirements. When fall arrest systems are used, an appropriate safety helmet should be worn instead of hard hat.
