Due to our highest commitment in the industry, Safemaster was once again honoured to work with Cooper & Oxley in the Expansion of the Perth Metro Hotel project to provide quality, innovative and engineered Height Safety and Access Platform Solutions.
Expansion of Metro Hotel, Perth
With the multi-dollar new expansion of Metro Hotel, an additional of 53 new rooms were introduced, as well as a contemporary new dining experience restaurant, stylish lobby bar, welcoming reception and new function spaces.
In this project, Safemaster provided a comprehensive “all under one roof” Height Safety solutions service, which include consultation, design, engineering, fabrication, installation and certification.
Central to this project is the revolutionary PROLANE SERIES Louver Platform, which demonstrates the skills of our in-house engineering team in providing a cost effective, innovative and quality solutions.
The Revolutionary Platform Solution
A total of 73.5m/sq of PROLANE Louver platform was custom designed and installed to support the Metro Hotel New Expansion mechanical plant. The stylish 1500mm high Louver Platform includes aluminium walkway grating to the platform, complete with self-closing and lockable door.
Giving up to 60% ventilation and 5 years warranty, the custom PROLANE Louver Platform was proof tested and certified by Safemaster’s in-house engineer. The Platform is to maintain the airflow in or out of mechanical equipment, whilst reducing noise pollution. The light weight and corrosive resistant aluminium construction guarantees a longer life expectancy.
In addition to the PROLANE Louver Platform, Safemaster also provided the X-CERT anchor point system to eliminate any possible fall risk, along with other roof access systems such as the SPACEGATE roof hatch, SKYCLIMB vertical static-line ladder and SLIPNOT aluminium roof walkway.
